Our team walked this year because cancer has directly affected our business. The summer of 2012, our very own Jerry Robbins, was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. Those of you, who knew Jerry, will understand that his diagnosis did not slow him down much. Up until his final weeks he was going into work regularly to make sure things were in order and, of course, to give the employees a hard time. Jerry started this business in 1959 and dedicated his life to his job and was truly passionate about his work. July 2013, we lost this wonderful man to cancer. We miss him dearly and wear suspenders at this event in honor of Jerry. Earlier this year, Patricia passed, but we know she is happy to be reunited with her husband of over 60 years. Our team enjoyed supper at Maggie’s, the couple’sfavorite spot in Wayzata, after the event to remember and honor both of them. Thank you to all that supported us in this event!
