Derrick Rubin
General Manager

Derrick is our General Manager who joined our team in the fall of 2021 and brought with him a personality that lights up our lobby. He enjoys spending time with his daughter as well as traveling with his girlfriend. His next vacation destination is Tokyo, Japan.

Curtis Merchant
Car Wash Attendant

Curtis has been working at this location since 2012 mainly as our car wash attendant but also working to keep things running smoothly in the background. Curt even created a rain garden for the store in the summer of 2021. He has been married to his wife Kathy for 34 years and they have 2 children, Grace and Brian. Curtis graduated from the Minnesota School of Business with a certification in Computer Programming and Operations. He spends his free time cycling, working on computers, volunteering at FreeGeek Twin Cities, and singing.

Jordan Winzenburg
Service Advisor

Jordan is the first of our service advisors, he joined the team in the fall of 2021 and has been a great help to the team. He is likely to be the first face you see when you come in the doors and the last person you hear from after everything is finished. Jordan enjoys playing the guitar, golfing, and fantasy football. He also has a large variety of pets, including 4 dogs, 2 bunnies, a cat, and a bearded dragon named Steve.

Todd Quist
Technician

Todd is one of our ASE Certified Master Automotive Technicians. He has been with Plymouth VIP Since 2001. He attended Hopkins High School and earned his Auto Technician degree from Hennepin Technical College. Todd has also completed a specialized Hunter alignment training for our new state-of-the-art Hunter WA200 alignment console. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife Holly, friends and family, and his dog Nala. He also enjoys playing golf and volleyball and is an avid sports fan. spaniels.

Dan Moss
Technician

Dan is our most awarded ASE Master Advanced Level Specialist Technician. He started working for the company in 1987 as a cashier and worked his way up while attending Hennepin Technical College. Dan logs many hours of advanced automotive training each year to ensure that he is well and truly one of the top automotive technicians in the country. In his spare time he enjoys fishing, hunting, and riding snowmobiles in Minnesota and Wisconsin. Dan is also an avid bowler and has scored four 300 point games. When asked what his favorite part of the job was, Dan replied, “The satisfaction that comes with diagnosing a “dead” car and bringing it back to life.” He also enjoys keeping busy and seeing how many cars he can fix in a day.

Chris Robbins
Consultant

Chris Robbins has received his ASE certifications of “Master Automobile Technician”, “Advanced Level Specialist” and “Service Consultant” for all makes and models of vehicles. He no longer acts as the general manager here at Plymouth Vip Auto but still provides help as a consultant whenever needed. Chris graduated from Wayzata High School in 2001 and proceeded to attend the Automotive Technician Program at Dunwoody College where he graduated number one in his class in 2003. Chris lives with his wife, 4 children, dog, and cat. Chris also likes to keep busy with home improvement projects, photography, and playing poker and other games with family and friends. He says he truly enjoys the work that he does and feels lucky to be in a career that he has been interested in since he was a child.
